Ware Academy held its 2025 commencement ceremony Friday at Ware Episcopal Church. Dr. Stan Allen, Ware Board of Trustees president, addressed the graduates, speaking on new beginnings. Head of School Dawn Fleet spoke about each student individually.
Graduates were presented their diplomas, followed by the distribution of individual awards. The Faculty Award for the highest grade point average was awarded to Alex Hogg and Haley Jacobs who both earned 4.0 GPAs.
A newly established award, in honor of former faculty, board member and parent Denise Finney, was presented to Adam Fleet for “exemplifying the spirit of Ware Academy.”
The Headmaster’s Award was given to Morgan Sterne for his contributions to the community through academic achievement and character.
The Spotswood Jones Citizenship Award was earned by Gladys Sinko-Hickman for demonstrating respect and consideration for others.
Ella Faulkner and Brandon Hubbard were awarded the student-athlete sportsmanship award.
