Ware Academy holds commencement ceremony

Ware Academy held its 2026 commencement ceremony Friday at Ware Episcopal Church. David Boyden, assistant coach for the University of Richmond’s men’s basketball team, addressed the graduates, speaking on value. Head of School Dawn Fleet spoke about each graduating student, followed by an awards presentation and distribution of diplomas. Jackson Miller and Reylan Miltenberger both received the Faculty Award for holding the highest grade point average at 3.96. Amelia Reynolds received the Denise McDaniel Finney Award for exemplifying the spirit of Ware Academy. Miltenberger received the Headmaster’s Award for contributing to the Ware community through academics, leadership and character. The Citizenship Award was presented to Isaac Dye. Marshall Hudgins and Anna Foster both earned the Sportsmanship Award. The Constance Ingles Award for Improvement was presented to Katie Ly.
