Wanda “Erkie” Haden Fletcher, 51, of Gloucester, departed this life July 12, 2017. 

She was the office service specialist covering Middlesex, Gloucester and Mathews health departments for 27 years. 

Wanda greatly enjoyed the outdoor life, dearly loved the beach and her home on the creek. 

She was preceded in death by her father, S. Gene Haden.

Wanda is survived by two sons, Steven Fletcher (Rachel), Brian Fletcher (Brooke), and their father, Bobby Fletcher; a grandson, Brycen Fletcher; her mother, Diane Haden; siblings, Keith Haden, Donna Britt (John), Michael Haden (Roxanne); her hard-headed dog companion, “Bodie,” as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Monday, July 17 at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, Va. 23181. Interment followed in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery.
