A graveside service for Walter Edward Rowe, 54, of Hayes, was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Gloucester Point Cemetery. He died Oct. 2, 2012.

He was a member of Union Baptist Church, and was employed with Peninsula Roofing Company.

Survivors include two brothers, Thomas Lumpkin and James Lumpkin.

The service was conducted by the Rev. Richard Whiteheart.
