Walker, Gregory honored by business sorority

In celebration of April as Business Month, the Epsilon Eta chapter of Iota Phi Lambda, Inc., honored two local businessmen in the lawn maintenance service field—Marcus “Terrell” Walker and Leon Gregory Jr.

Walker started his business in 2012 with an old car and a push mower. He discovered he loved working outdoors and being his own boss. His business has grown and he is now owner of Executive Lawn Care of Ordinary.

Gregory, owner of Gregory’s Professional Lawn Maintenance & Landscaping, LLC, started his business in 2002. He is no stranger to entrepreneurship; his father, Leon Gregory Sr., owned and operated the Wagon Wheel Tavern, the Hub Cleaners, and the Rim Theater for many decades and started and ran Lee-Rye Nursery until his death. Leon who resides in Hayes is the father of two adult children. He is a graduate of Norfolk State University.
