Volunteers roll up sleeves to clean Maryus Landing

Gloucester Clean Community led a group of volunteers on a cleanup of Maryus Landing at the end of Maryus Road on Saturday.
The site has been the location of illegal dumping of construction debris and yard waste in recent years. Members of Boy Scout Troop 113 and the Abingdon Ruritan Club filled a dump truck with concrete chunks and other large debris, and also picked up 20 bags of trash.
