Volunteer of the month

Jim Myers is Dug in Farms’ July Volunteer of the Month. Myers has volunteered at the farm since 2016, a year after it opened for business selling produce from a wooden picnic table and an honor cash box. Myers was a software engineer before retiring to the area in 2005. He is a self-professed home gardener and “tinkerer” who enjoys dabbling in fixing things and working with his hands. When his wife told him owner Carolyn Quinn was looking for volunteers, he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work at the farm and pursue every boy’s dream of driving a tractor and pushing dirt around. Dug in Farms is located in White Stone.
