Vivian Treakle Russell of Mathews, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013.

Born in March of 1923, she was raised in Norfolk and had lived in Mathews since 1976.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Dan Russell; sons, David and Terry; daughter, Jeanette, and granddaughter, Laura.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Westville Baptist Church following the 11 a.m. worship service.
