Vivian Culley Blackwell departed this life on Tuesday, May 2, 2017.

She had been a Gloucester resident for many years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she served as an usher and member of the Good Life Gospel Choir.

She is survived by a daughter, Michelle Gardner of Watertown, New York; granddaughters, Vivian Gardner of Newport News, and Nicole Gardner of Watertown, New York; five sisters, Janet Berry (Harold) of Gloucester, the Rev. Lena Green of Fredericksburg, Estelle Pellzer of Charlotte, North Carolina, Alma Webb (Antonio), and Florence Robinson (Reginald), both of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; brothers, Harold Culley of New York, and Clarence Culley of Gloucester; many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017, in Bethel Baptist Church.
