Virtual training programs offered

The Prevention, Health and Wellness Division of the Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Community Services Board is offering a number of upcoming virtual training programs.

Fifteen-week Nurturing Parenting Classes continue year-round. The cost is $25 for the handbook and $25 per person/per session.

Children First is a four-hour co-parenting education program designed to promote positive and healthy communication for families experiencing the challenges of transition through separation and/or divorce. Upcoming sessions include Thursday, Nov. 18 (4-8 p.m.), Thursday, Dec. 16 (4-8 p.m.), Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 (8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.), Saturday, Feb. 26 (8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) and Saturday, March 19 (8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.). The cost is $50 per person.

A session by Ted Lewis Consulting, “Allyship & Making Positive Change for LGBTQ+ Inclusion” will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5. Online registration is available at https://bayriverstelehealth.zoom.us/meeting/register...
