Virginia Wroten Majette, 76, of Foster, Virginia, died surrounded by family on July 27, 2016.

Virginia was born on November 28, 1939 to Charles and Hilda Wroten. Virginia was loved by many and will be remembered for her loving, kind, and gentle spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Charles Wroten Jr. and Jessie Wroten, and a grandson, Brian White.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Norman Majette; children, Donnie White (Lynn), Teresa Machen (Chuck), William White (Pam), Arlene Smith, Phyllis Fleming (Jimmy) and a step-son, Mark Majette (Kathy); 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Elain Carlton and Frances King (Gene).

A funeral service conducted by Pastor Chris Morgan was held at 11 a.m. on July 30, 2016 at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, followed with interment at Gwynn’s Island Cemetery.
