VIRGINIA RUTH GROGAN

Virginia Ruth “Ginny” Grogan, SST., USAF-ret., 54, of Gloucester, Va., passed away suddenly on Jan. 16, 2013.

She was a native of Middletown, Pa. Ginny was retired from the U.S. Air Force, and had worked for the Coleman Bridge as a toll collector. She was a member of Bellamy United Methodist Church, the
Gloucester Moose Lodge, and the Thousand Trails community.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Dougherty. She is survived by her husband, Donald Grogan; children, Angela Gunn and her husband Bo, Thomas E. Grogan and his wife Jessica, Cela Koebl and her husband Nick, Curtiss Goins and his wife Becky; her mother, Helen Rudy Dougherty; sisters, Julie Dougherty, Leann Varner; brothers, John Dougherty, Bob Dougherty, and Dave Dougherty; her grandchildren, Carri, Taylor, Savannah, Alani, Sebastian, and Braedyn, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
   A memorial service celebrating Ginny’s life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at 2 p.m. in Bellamy United Methodist Church by the Rev. Kenneth Waclo.

Memorial donations may be made to the Grogan Family Fund, c/o Bellamy United Methodist Church, 4870 Chestnut Fork Road, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
