Virginia (Ginny) Martha Clark, 70, of Mathews, died Sunday, September 11, 2016, surrounded by her loved ones.

She attended Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church, and was a wonderful loving caregiver for many years.

The one thing Ginny adored most was her two grandchildren, not a day went by that she didn’t talk about them. Her family will always remember her as an outgoing, loving person who always loved to tell jokes and make people laugh.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Ashberry and wife Kim; daughter, Donna Ashby and fiancé David Loving; grandchildren, Samantha Ashberry and Liam Loving; sisters, Delores Ann Armistead, Nancy Forrest, Mary Lou Ambrose, Carolyn Hodges, and a brother, Ray Owens.

Funeral services officiated by Pastor Doug Johnson were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home in Mathews. Burial followed at Windsor Garden Cemetery, Dutton.
