Virginia Living Museum plant sale to be held over two weekends

For the 35th year, the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News will offer unique plant species for sale, including native Virginia Living Museum nursery-propagated perennials, vines, shrubs and trees for local yard and gardens.

The plant sale will be both online and onsite. The onsite public sale will be held over two weekends—Sept. 18-19 and 25-26 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The sale will be held on the museum’s Conservation Garden Lawn and is free to the public; admission is not required.

Museum members can participate in online sales beginning Monday Sept. 13 or enjoy the first pick of plants during the Onsite Member Preview Thursday, Sept. 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. Online sales to the public begin Friday, Sept. 17. All online sales will end at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23. Plant pick-up for online sales is Saturday, Sept. 25 and/or Sunday, Sept. 26 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Visit the Virginia Living Museum website at https://thevlm.org/events/shop-now for online sales.
