Virginia Lee Groves, age 90, of Williamsburg, died on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Virginia was born on May 18, 1935 to the late Robert and Virginia Puryear Lewis. Virginia worked as a tour guide at Colonial Williamsburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Groves, and by her daughter, Rebecca Clements. She is survived by her daughter, Beth Ann Bond; grandsons, Robert Clements and Travis Bond; great-grandson, Luke Bond, and great-granddaughters, Mayleigh and Laney Bond. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Williamsburg Baptist Church on Thursday, January 22, 2026, 2 p.m. The inurnment will be private. In memory of Virginia, contributions may be made to the Hospice House of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, Va. 23188.
