VIRGINIA HOWE SALMON

Virginia Howe “Ginny” Salmon, age 83, of Dutton, died Nov. 27, 2017 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.  

Born in Shanghai, China, to USN Capt. Charles M. Howe III and Mary L Howe, she lived a full life travelling extensively in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the Philippines. 

Ginny was a retired registered nurse, and raised four children. Ginny was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, USMC Col. Ronald William Salmon Sr.

Survivors include son, R. William Salmon Jr. and his wife Cathy Salmon of Atlanta Georgia.

Memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 16, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., followed by 11 o’clock service at the Church of Francis de Sales, Mathews. Inurnment will be private.
