Vine Travel launches new program to benefit local organizations

Pam Rowe, owner of Gloucester travel agency Vine Travel, is launching a new community partnership program, “Travel with Purpose,” to combine meaningful travel experiences with local community impact.

Through select hosted group trips, a portion of proceeds will help support local nonprofit partners and their missions, beginning with the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society.

The first featured experience will be a luxury “Tulip Time” river cruise through the Netherlands and Belgium aboard AmaWaterways to be held April 20-27, 2027. Travelers will have the opportunity to explore the world, while also supporting GMHS.

The cruise will showcase the beauty of Holland during peak tulip season, featuring villages, historic cities, windmills, canal cruising and immersive cultural experiences throughout the region. The voyage is designed for travelers seeking a relaxed, upscale and memorable small-ship river cruise experience while connecting with others who share a passion for travel and community.

The Travel with Purpose initiative is expected to continue growing with future hosted experiences, including wine cruises, music-themed cruises and European Christmas Market river cruises, all designed to bring people together through shared experiences while supporting meaningful causes throughout the region.

Vine Travel is currently coordinating the partnership launch with GMHS Communications & Development Manager Caitlin Donnelly.
