Marine Science Day will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, Gloucester Point.

This is the school’s annual open house, which will include exhibits, children’s activities, seining on the York River, laboratory tours, a seafood cooking demonstration, and mini-lectures. Also, the public can tour the school’s oyster hatchery, teaching marsh, seagrass greenhouse and other facilities.
