Village Arts Day

The monthlong Gloucester Arts Festival came to an end Saturday with Village Arts Day, as Gloucester Court House was abuzz with artistic energy. A stage was set up on the Tabb House lawn with a number of groups performing. Above, Bayside Youth Ballet dancers Emma Pearson, Melody Thompson, Savanna Klaus, from left, were among those thrilling the audience. In photo at right, 9-year-old Liam Kennedy and his 7-year-old sister Halle get some artistic help from Janet Griffin and Brenda Turner, from left, two retired art teachers who were lending a hand with Arts on Main.
