American Legion Post 83, Mathews, will hold its annual Veterans Day Dinner and Awards Program at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, at the post headquarters on Route 198 in Hudgins.

Guest speakers will be Joe and Cathy Schirmer of the Rise As One Foundation. The dinner will be catered by Shelly Williams Catering of Mathews. The cost of the meal will be $20 and you may pay at the door. Area veterans, families and the public are invited to attend.

In order to ensure an accurate meals count, RSVPs are requested with: “Name and Number attending” left on the Post 83 answering machine at 804-725-7422 no later than Nov. 6.
