VersAbility Resources wins $140M Air Force contract

VersAbility Resources, a Hampton-based nonprofit serving people with disabilities, has been selected as the prime contractor for a $140 million nationwide Air Force contract.

VersAbility has been awarded this 10-year contract to handle enterprise-wide official and postal mail services for the Air Force at 40 Air Force Base locations across 27 states, adding 26 bases to the 14 VersAbility previously managed.

A total of 62 operations will include 32 Postal Service Centers and 30 Official Mail Centers. VersAbility chooses to subcontract work on their nationwide contracts to other disability-serving nonprofits and will be adding numerous new partners with this contract.

VersAbility will staff and operate two new locations, Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico and the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado beginning in early 2024.
