Veronica Cavell Johnson of Susan, passed away June 21, 2019 at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News.

She was born May 2, 1953 in Richmond to the late Clifton and Roslyn Johnson and graduated from Mathews High School in 1971.

Survivors include her three sons, Allen Johnson (LyTisha) of Richmond, Louis Johnson (Sakia) of Baltimore, Maryland, and Steven Johnson (Kim) of Baltimore; one sister, Cilento Johnson of Baltimore, and one brother,  Cedric Johnson of  Mathews; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Jade, Nicholas, Donovan, Tristyn, Grant, and Myles; one aunt, Gladys White of Mathews; one uncle, M. Stanley Johnson Sr. (Nancy) of Mathews, and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Antioch Baptist Church, 110 Antioch Road, Susan, Va. 23163. Viewing and visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26 at Antioch Baptist Church. Burial will be at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Susan.
