The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold an in-person design public hearing on Monday on a proposed project to construct a roundabout at the intersection of Route 3 (Twiggs Ferry Road) and Route 630 (Stampers Bay Road) in Middlesex County. The public hearing will be held at St. Clare Walker Middle School in Locust Hill. People are invited to stop by any time between 5 and 7 p.m. to review displays and discuss the project with VDOT staff. The meeting will be held in an open house format. Comments on the project will be accepted at the public hearing and afterward through Thursday, Sept. 10. Comments may be emailed to fred.comments@vdot.virginia.gov--reference “Route 3 and Route 360 roundabout” in the email subject line.
