Highway projects underway in Gloucester and Mathews this week, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation, include the following:

Cedar Bush Road, Route 633 in Gloucester, paving between North Providence Road and Hickory Fork Road; due to end today;

Founders Mill Way in Gloucester, due to have ended Tuesday, paving near Kitchener Drive;

Inspection of the Route 3 bridge over Burke Mill Stream, Gloucester and Mathews, was scheduled to be held Tuesday;

Route 14 in Mathews, inspection of North End Bridge was scheduled for Wednesday;

Route 3 Windsor Road in Mathews is due for paving in daylight hours through Saturday;

Rehabilitation work continues on the Dragon Run bridge on Route 17 at the Gloucester and Middlesex county line. This work is due to continue through August 2021.
