VDOT crews to install markers on Route 3

Virginia Department of Transportation crews will be installing pavement markers at various locations on Route 3 (Twiggs Ferry Road) in Mathews, from Green Point Road to Buckley Hall Road, from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. today and Friday.

Motorists should expect brief delays and be alert to slow-moving vehicles in this mobile work zone, said Tina Bundy, a VDOT spokesperson.

In nearby counties, crews will be making repairs on the Route 721 bridge over Chapel Hill Swamp in King and Queen County from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. today and Friday and crews will be installing guardrail on Route 3 (Mary Ball Road) in Lancaster County, from near Whites Lane to Courthouse Road, from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. today. ...
