Lyle and Kathleen Varnell of Gloucester, Virginia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah, to Andrzej Burkat, son of Anna and Joe Burkat of Detroit, Michigan.
Hannah graduated from N.C. State College of Veterinary Medicine, Raleigh, N.C., as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Andrzej graduated from Wayne State University of Medicine and is in residency.
A wedding is planned for May 2023.
