West Point native Valerie Burrell is one of the contributing authors to a new anthology, “Women Healed & Whole, Vol. IV” compiled by Tia Monique.

The anthology includes stories from women who have survived traumatic life events, a release said.

The book is available on Amazon. Valerie Burrell is the wife of Benny M. Burrell, who served in law enforcement in several localities including Gloucester, Mathews, Middlesex and West Point.
