Valentine’s Day

Students at Achilles, Abingdon and Bethel elementary schools recently made valentines for community members. Achilles students made valentines for visitors to Bay Aging’s Gloucester Senior Center. In left photo, Brayden Setterholm (left) and Raven Howard are hard at work constructing the cards. Abingdon kindergarteners made valentines for the residents and patients at the Walter Reed Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center. In middle photo, Adalynn Mahnke (left) and Greyson Mahnke display their valentines. Bethel preschool students made valentines for veterans, which members of American Legion Post 75 delivered to patients at the Hampton VA Medical Center. In right photo, Post 75 Historian Julie Coates (at right) is pictured with Natalie Greene, a student in Deborah Lawson’s VPI-Cub’s class.
