The Baystars U19 Barracudas defeated the Richmond Kickers Black ’03, 4-1, in Poor Farm Park in Ashland on Saturday. Nick LeBel got the team on the scoreboard with the first goal for the Barracudas in the second half. Bay Wiggins followed with a successful penalty kick before the Kickers scored their first goal to make in 2-1. A nice cross pass from Lewie Lawrence to Wiggins led to a goal on a header by Wiggins to boost the lead to 3-1. Bobby Cox struck for the fourth and final goal of the game to end it at 4-1. Gabe Cahoon and Spencer Phillips also took shots on goal for the ’Cudas and keeper Riley Jaquysh held the Kickers to their sole goal....
