Gloucester Main Street will celebrate the opening of two new businesses with ribbon cuttings this week. York River Jiu-Jitsu, offering classes in this martial art for all ages and skill levels, will have its ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3:30 p.m. today, Thursday, July 30, at 6912 Main Street, located in Main Street Center in Gloucester. “It is a great way to get in shape, learn self-defense, and more,” said a press release. Brewed Awakening Café will have a ribbon cutting at 1 p.m. Friday at 6714 Main Street. The new restaurant officially opened for business on July 17, serving breakfast, lunch, pastries, specialty coffee and more.
