Two new stylists working at Tangled Up salon

Tangled Up, a hair salon located at White Marsh Village Center, has added two new stylists.

Kim Shiflett and Serena Hedge both began working there as independent contractors on Oct. 18. Until recently, Shiflett owned Trendsetters, a salon at Gloucester Point Shopping Center, where Hedge worked with her.

"We are glad they have joined us," said Kristian Berry of King William County, who owns Tangled Up with Lisa Seider of Hayes. Both are stylists, as is Jessica Wyatt of King and Queen County.

Shiflett has 31 years’ hair care experience. She has worked at several other salons on the Peninsula and in Gloucester. Her specialties include hair color, highlights, perms and new cuts.

Shiflett also is owner of Dominion School of Hair Design at Gloucester Point Shopping Center. Closing Trendsetters freed up space where the school will expand in the next few months, she said.
