Two candidate forums next week in Gloucester

A pair of candidate forums will be held in Gloucester next week, including the only scheduled joint appearance of the two candidates for the 98th District seat in the House of Delegates.

On Monday, candidates running for the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors and School Board will participate in a forum at the Lighthouse Worship Center, Ordinary, starting at 7 p.m. Hosted by the Gloucester Citizens for Accountable Government, it will include only local candidates running who are opposed for office. Questions will be taken directly from the audience.

On Tuesday, the Gloucester Democratic Committee and the Severn Republican Women, will host a forum featuring Keith Hodges, a Republican, who is vying to retain his seat as the 98th District representative on the Virginia House of Delegates, alongside his Democratic opponent Sheila Crowley. It will be held at the Moose Family Center Lodge 886, Gloucester.
