Two Best Years Trips offered

A pair of Best Years Trips will be held in the coming weeks, with the deadline to sign up fast approaching, according to the Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department.

Tuesday is the deadline to register for a Wednesday, April 17 trip to the Riverside Center for Performing Arts in Fredericksburg to see a matinee performance of the Neil Simon musical comedy, “They’re Playing Our Song.” The trip will depart Gloucester at 9:30 a.m. and return to the county at 6:45 p.m. The registration fee is $130.

Saturday is the deadline to sign up for a trip to the Suffolk Mystery Authors Festival from 11:15 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. on the following Saturday, March 16. Meet over 50 authors, hear their stories and have dinner on the way home. The fee is $30.
