Twenty years ago

Gloucester Library, which celebrated its renovation two weeks ago, has been in the present location in Main Street Center since 2004. At the ribbon-cutting that year, from left, were county supervisors Louise Theberge and Michelle Ressler, library director Nancy Dwoyer, supervisors Burton Bland and John Adams Sr., state library consultant Patricia Muller, Del. Harvey Morgan, Rep. Jo Ann Davis, supervisor Rick Allen, Edwin Joseph (who had the vision to put the facility in the former, renovated grocery store), supervisor Teresa Altemus and library board chair Cecil Harvey Williams.
