Tuesday is the deadline for Virginians to register to vote, or to update an existing registration, in order to be able to cast a ballot in the 2020 election.
Voters have until Friday, Oct. 23 in order to request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you.
The request must be received by your registrar by 5 p.m. that day.
No excuse in-person voting (taking place at the registrar’s offices in Gloucester and Mathews) has been going on since Sept. 18 for the Nov. 3 general election. For more information, contact Mathews Voter Registrar Carla Faulkner at 804-725-3200 or email@example.com; or Gloucester Voter Registrar Bobbi Morgan at 804-693-3659 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
