Tucker’s Store archaeology

Interns with the Fairfield Foundation explored the former site of Tucker’s Store on the Gloucester Court Circle last week ahead of the county’s installation of a pocket park on the property. Above, clockwise from bottom left, are Houston, Texas high school student Naomi Alberts, University of Virginia graduate Jane Kim, College of William and Mary graduate Billy Bearden, James Madison University senior Katie Brauckmann, and Gloucester High School senior Faith Ronquest.
