The Mathews Triad 2026 Summer Health and Safety Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Piankatank Ruritan Club, Hudgins. The annual event brings together local organizations, service providers, and community partners to share practical information that helps older adults stay safe, healthy and connected. Bay Aging’s VICAP (Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program) and VDC (Veteran Directed Care) teams will be on hand with an information table to answer questions about Medicare counseling, discuss eligibility for the VDC program, and other health, housing and transportation services available to area older adults and caregivers.
