Trees can be dropped off at any convenience center

Gloucester residents can deposit their recycled live Christmas trees in the brush bin at any Waste Management convenience center site during regular business hours. The trees will be chipped for mulch along with any other brush collected.

Residents should remove all decorations prior to dropping off the tree.

Mulch will only be available at Waste Management’s main facility in Glenns and the availability of the mulch depends on the company’s chipping/shredding schedule and the supply of mulch on hand. Stockpiles of mulch are not always available.

When available, Gloucester County residents may get mulch free of charge. Waste Management may be able to assist with loading if a loader is available. If a loader is not available, residents will need to load the mulch themselves.

Residents may call Waste Management at 693-5884 for mulch information and availability.
