Treena Marie Jordan Freeman of Gloucester, passed away Aug. 31, 2017 at her home.

Treena was born on Dec. 13, 1955 in Portsmouth, to Ben and Barbara Jordan, as their third child. Treena attended schools in Gloucester and Mathews.

Treena was a happy, cheerful person full of life and energy. She loved fishing, boating and her cats. She loved her family and being outside. Treena was a people person, she enjoyed her job as a waitress. She lived with our mother helping to take care of her and the household duties. We will all miss her and her laughter and smile.

She was predeceased by her father, Ben Jordan.

She is survived by her mother, Barbara Jordan; sisters, Linda Nuttall (William), Kathy Gay (Milan); brothers, William (Sandy) and Gary; three daughters, Renate Rankin, Jessica Freeman and Emily Johnson; three grandchildren, Tatiana, Kyasia, and Aidyn. She is also survived by many other family members, her special cousins, Steve, Nancy, and Joyce, and her many friends.

There was a celebration of life service at Providence Baptist Church, Hayes, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5. The family received friends at 10 o’clock in the sanctuary before the service.
