Travers Brothership to perform at Flat Iron

Travers Brothership, a rock/soul/blues outfit based in Asheville, North Carolina, will perform on Friday, Sept. 16 at Flat Iron Crossroads, Gloucester.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show starting at 7:30. Food will be available from On the Flip Side with refreshments available from the FIX Bar inside. Tickets are $20 and are available at www.flatironcrossroads.com.

At the age of 28, twin brothers Eric and Kyle Travers have been writing songs and performing for live audiences for well over half of their lifetime. Growing up in the small town of Black Mountain, North Carolina, right outside of Asheville, the twins were inundated with music of all kinds from a young age.

Their father, and veteran of the East Coast music scene, “Hurricane” Bob Travers, began teaching his sons how to play blues and rock music at the age of 7.
