Tralee’s Main Street adventure

Life is always a lot more fun when it’s viewed through the eyes of a puppy.

Cheryl Slavnik of Gloucester recently took her Aussie/doodle mix for her first outing. Tralee, who turned four months old, ventured with Slavnik for the first time outside of her yard, strolling down Main Street.

Starting in front of Arts on Main, the pair walked to Ware Neck Produce, crossing Main Street and walking back. “It was the funniest walk I’ve ever taken with one of my dogs,” Slavnik said.

“As we were walking down Main Street, she stopped suddenly and I turned to see what she was doing,” she continued. “She had seen her reflection in one of the business’s doors. She stood there, tail going a mile an minute as she was so happy to see the dog staring back at her.”
