The Gloucester United Emergency Shelter Team (GUEST) program will hold two training sessions next month for volunteers interested in helping the group’s mission of providing shelter for the homeless.

The sessions will be held on Sunday, Jan. 4, at Gloucester Point Baptist Church and Sunday, Jan. 11, at Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh, according to volunteer coordinator Nancy Orth. Each session will be held from 4:30-6 p.m., she said. Volunteers must participate in a training session before they can begin working with the program, Orth said.
