Tracy Marie Brown of Hayes, came into the world on Aug. 13, 1976, returning to our Heavenly Father on Sept. 12, 2021. Tracy graduated from Menchville High School in 1995, then attended CNU before graduating from ODU with a B.S. in dental hygiene.
She loved everything about nature and loved spending as much time as she could in it; snowboarding, camping, scuba diving, traveling to the beach for a day, or weekend trips with family. She was always doing something outdoors and working in her garden or tending to her flock of chickens she loved so much. Tracy was a wonderful, loving, and beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She loved her family with everything in her. She was our brightest light, and her personality and beautiful deeds were endless. Tracy leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 26 years, Todd Brown; two sons, Gage and Jacob Brown; mother, Glenda and stepfather, Ricky Atkins of Newport News; father, Larry Koch Sr. of Hampton; brother, Larry Koch Jr. of Gloucester; two sisters, Richelle and her husband, Bradley Thomas of Hope Mills, N.C. and Amanda Thurman of Chesapeake; niece, Brooklyn Manley, and her nephew, Derek Dudley. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 886, 6565 Moose Drive, Gloucester, Va. 23061, on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, from 1-6 p.m. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
