The familiar Toys for Tots cardboard boxes are at businesses and other locations throughout the region, accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys. Among the drop-off sites this year is GibsonSingleton Virginia Injury Attorneys, whose office is at 4073 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes. This site is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday through Dec. 15 to accept toys. The firm has added an incentive for all who donate a toy at that location—a free ice scraper or a Christmas ornament. Donors may also register for drawings to win a road safety kit and other prizes. More information about the Toys for Tots program is available at gloucester-va.toysfortots.org and also on GibsonSingleton.com. Here, Middle Peninsula Detachment #1317 Marine Corps League Senior Vice Commandant David Clements (left) and Commandant Mike Gilberti (right) deliver the drop-off toy box to GibsonSingleton partner Ken Gibson (middle). Both Gibson and partner John Singleton are former Marines; although no one is ever really a “former” Marine.
