Mathews County offices are collecting toys to support local families during the Christmas season.

Donations are being accepted through Dec. 22 at any office in the administration building or at Liberty Square. The toys will be given to the Mathews County Department of Social Services for the annual Christmas Store.

If toys are donated after the Christmas Store event is held, they will be used for families facing emergency situations or saved for next year.
