Friends Kaylee Strader and Thomas Hunter of Gloucester, accompanied by Thomas’s father Brandon Hunter, tried out the driver’s seat of a McCormick Farmall tractor owned by Buck Richardson of Gloucester during the Touch a Truck event held on Sunday on the Page Middle School campus in Gloucester. Children had a chance to explore numerous large vehicles, from sitting on a stretcher inside a Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad ambulance to climbing in the bucket of a Cox Communications bucket truck, to learning about how waste is collected in a Gloucester Refuse garbage truck, and more....
