Tom Euler will open the Deltaville Maritime Museum’s Groovin’ in the Park 2022 concert series on Saturday, May 7, with a special performance from 5:30-8 p.m. The venue is located at 287 Jackson Creek Road. Gates open one hour before the concert for picnicking.
Tickets are $15 in advance at the museum office, online at deltavillemuseum.com, or at Nauti Nell’s in Deltaville. They will be $20 at the door.
The 2022 Groovin’ in the Park season, which marks the museum’s 20th anniversary, will include a total of seven concerts featuring a dozen or more individual artists and bands through the end of September. Concerts are:
May 28: Ray Pittman, 5-6 p.m. and Bobby Messano, 6-8 p.m.;
June 25: Sincerely, Iris, 5-6 p.m. and The Taters, 6-8 p.m.;
July 23: Clayton Neal, 4-6 p.m. and the Steve Bassett Band in a special performance from 6-8 p.m.;
Aug. 27: Stones Throw, 4-6 p.m. and Stuck on a Name, 6-8 p.m.;
Sept. 3: Toby Gillie and the Unpredictables, 5-6 p.m. and Josh Walker Quartet with Carla Jackson, 6-8 p.m.;
Sept. 24: Rappahannock Crossing, 6-8 p.m.
Regular concerts are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. The special performances on May 7 and July 23 are $20 in advance or $15 at the door.
Season ticket packages are available at a $10 discount from advance sales prices.
Concerts are held rain or shine.
