Laura Tobin, a 2020 graduate of Gloucester High School, recorded her first collegiate hit for the Meredith Avenging Angels in the 8-0 loss in game two of a softball doubleheader on March 13 against the Greensboro Pride.Tobin hit a ground ball deep in the hole at shortstop and beat the throw to first in the fifth inning. Earlier in game one, Tobin entered the game late and delivered an RBI in her only plate appearance.
