Tiny Crab, LLC, a children’s clothing and accessory shop, opened for business Monday on John Clayton Memorial Highway. It is located near Peace Frogs and the 7-Eleven at the corner of Crab Thicket Road.

A grand opening will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22-23, with refreshments, giveaways and vendors being arranged.

Owner Dixie L. DeLutis of Gloucester works at the store part-time. She works full-time as a registered nurse manager at Riverside Tappahannock Hospital in Tappahannock.

Her husband, Patrick, manages the store full-time, while her mother. Sheila A. Korycinski of Gloucester, helps part-time.

DeLutis said they sell new boutique clothing, such as fancy church dresses and bonnets, as well as lots of what she termed “previously loved” (pre-owned) items. Shelves and racks are filled with items that the DeLutises have purchased, as well as some they take on consignment.
