TIMOTHY JAMES COLCLOUGH

Timothy James Colclough, 56, of Mathews, died suddenly of natural causes on April 25, 2012. He was born March 7, 1956 in Baltimore, Md.

He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Catherine; his parents, John and Elizabeth, and his brother, Thomas.

He is survived by his two sons, Kyle Graham Colclough and Timothy McClean (Mac) Colclough and his wife Beverly; brothers, John Colclough and Christopher Colclough; sisters, Elizabeth Boteler, Eileen Mirsch and Maureen Colclough.

Tim was skilled in the building trades and worked as a restoration carpenter for 30 years, receiving awards from the Maryland Historical Society. He also worked at Colonial Williamsburg. Tim’s love for detail extended not only to his work, but to his interests in history, nature and his passions for trains from HO scale to full-size locomotives. Tim was a loving, caring, honest man who tried to put others and family before himself. His love of family, his quest for knowledge and his personal battles led him to reconnect with his Lord. He was honored to be a part of Bethel United Methodist Church.

The family received friends on Sunday, April 29, 2012, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Va. Funeral services were held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, April 30, 2012, at 1 p.m. Burial will be at a later date.
